How does it work?

IEX London combines English language learning with the exploration of one of the most iconic cities in the world. Through dynamic classes, practical activities, and cultural visits, students strengthen their language skills while discovering the history, diversity, and cultural richness of the British capital.

During the programme, students will live and learn alongside international peers, practise English with specialised teachers, and take part in experiences that foster communication, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of other cultures.

IEX London is an excellent option for students aged 11 to 17 who are looking to improve their English through a cultural and academic immersion experience in the United Kingdom. How does IEX London differ from other programmes in the United Kingdom?

Unlike The Masters and The Olympiad by WEE, which are international academic competitions, IEX London combines cultural immersion with academic experience without a competitive element. The programme focuses on strengthening English and developing both individual and group skills while students explore the United Kingdom and take part in academic, recreational, and cultural activities.

Must students travel with their school, or can they join individually?

Students may participate either individually or as part of a group. IEX London welcomes both group bookings and individual participants.

Is prior knowledge required to participate?

No specific academic background is required. IEX London is designed as a cultural and academic immersion experience focused on strengthening English and developing both individual and group skills through the language. A minimum English level of A1 is required to participate.

What travel documentation is required to participate?

Students must hold a valid passport and provide the necessary documentation to complete their registration and travel. Immigration and visa requirements may vary depending on the participant’s nationality.

Are there any additional costs to consider outside the programme fee?

Flights are quoted separately from the programme cost, and any expenses related to visa applications must be covered by each family. In addition, IEX London offers optional extra activities at an additional cost. For further details, please contact your representative.

No specific prior preparation is required to take part in IEX London. The programme is designed for students to develop their skills and improve their English throughout the experience.

How are students placed in English classes?
