Mexican Preparatory Escuela Activo 20-30 wins The Masters 2024 in England

The Mexican school Preparatoria Activo 20-30 from Chihuahua wins the 2024 edition of The Masters, organized in England by BEO Education.

24 talented students from Activo 20-30 High School, located in the municipality of Delicias, Chihuahua, have put Mexico's name on high by winning the prestigious annual The Masters 2024 competition organised by BEO World together with Oxford International. This event, the entrepreneurial competition was held on April 20th and brings together young people between 16 and 18 years of age from 14 nationalities.

Its success was no coincidence. Since August last year, they have been preparing hard under the guidance of their mentors, Oscar Beltran and Gabino Reza. These dedicated teachers not only provided them with a solid background in business and finance, but also helped them perfect their command of English, a key skill for competing in an event aimed at high school students who are not native English speakers, which adds an extra level of difficulty and challenge.

On their arrival at the airport they were greeted with flowers and mariachis. Their parents and friends welcomed them with applause and tears. Days later the mayor of the city of Delicias, Jesús Valenciano, met with them at the Cultural Centre. ‘This is due to the tenacity, effort and the blood of the founders of Delicias that runs through their veins,’ he commented in front of them. They were also welcomed by the Secretary of Education and Sports, Sandra Elena Gutiérrez, who added: ‘Their dedication, knowledge and dedication has been recognised worldwide. The winning project they presented was a travel app.

The municipality of Delicias is already organising a series of programmes and entrepreneurial projects inspired by this achievement, in order to continue promoting educational and business development in the region. Undoubtedly, this success will serve as a motivating example for other young people who seek to achieve their dreams and realise their goals through effort and education.
